Summary
BRAIN NTNU hosts an event for "Girls in Artificial Intelligence" every year, and wanted a special tote bag to give out to the participants. These tote bags are still used all around Trondheim, and the design has been re-used for the following year's events.
iterations
The project was executed in a short intense week. Here are the key concept proposals that were provided to the client during the short duration of the project.

Girls of info tech - A girl in front of binary numbers to symbolise how they stand out
The women of tech - A collage of different women to show diversity
Butterfly effect - Even small powers can have huge effects, since girls are outnumbered in the tech apartment.

From the concept "The Women of Tech" this design of diverse women emerged.
Final design
Originally the design included more nuances in colour, but as I soon learnt - printing companies charge per colour, so the design was narrowed down to using the same colours on hair, eyes, lips and accessories.
Reflection
This project taught me to do a speed version of the design cycle and to produce what we could in the short amount of time we were given (1 week). It was a huge success, the client was ecstatic and to this day, I still see the tote bags being used all over the student city. We even included a little easter egg in the character in the middle, which is Lil Miquela, a CGI made virtual influencer. She played a key role in shaping how AI personalities are viewed and accepted in the media, especially for women in AI fields. This taught me to not overly explain design choices, but to leave hints for some to get and appreciate. The feedback was immense on that choice.
